Every year according to the Statutes, EFHOH summon its members to a General Meeting. At this meeting usual points like the Annual and Financial Reports are discussed and accepted; elections of the board members are held. In conjunction with the meeting, a conference is usually arranged. The participants are able to listen to different topics like assistive technology, subtitling on TV, new research results in the field of hearing loss. etc. The working language of the AGM and the conference is English, with speech-to-text support (captioning). This enables all hard of hearing and late deafened people to take part of the discussions and presentations.
The date and place for the AGM are decided at the preceding AGM. It is the members who decide, after presentation of the candidates.
