Accessibility for people with a hearing loss

Accessibility to hard of hearing people means a broad range of assistive technology both for the individual and/or in society to remove the barriers of society and avoid new ones, EFHOH has published its own guidelines for accessibility to hard of hearing people.

These guidelines include parts about basic needs like hearing aids and other assistive technologies, subtitling, captioning, hearing loops.

Our Board members works together with the European Disability Forum, and other partners to influence support and awareness of accessibility needs for hard of hearing people.
